How the Simply Coaching School Accelerator Works
There are 4 milestones to becoming a Certified Simply Coaching School over a 2-year period (not attached to the calendar). No matter when you start, you’ll move through all the milestones, each building your coaching capacity, improving instruction, and driving measurable results.
Milestone 1:
Launch & Build the Foundation
GOAL: Establish your Teacher Support System and align leadership & coaching roles.
Key Actions:
- Launch / Foundation Days (in-person or virtual) introducing the Simply Coaching Framework™ and S.I.M.P.L.E. Blueprint™
- Baseline Data Collection (teacher self-assessments, coaching snapshots, perception surveys)
- Teacher Support System documentation
Criteria to Complete:
- Launch days delivered to all core participants
- Teacher Support System documented and shared
- Baseline data complete
- Leadership-coach alignment meeting completed
Milestone 2:
Implement Core Coaching Practices
GOAL: Build capacity to run effective coaching cycles and grow teachers.
Key Actions:
- CoachPath Accelerator – Role clarity, coaching systems, P.A.R. Cycle mastery
- LeaderPath Accelerator – Leader strategies for protecting time, supporting coaches, and building culture
- GrowthPath Accelerator – Teacher growth through instructional coaching
- Mid-Milestone In-Person Support – Hands-on modeling and strategy labs
- Simple DataCycles™ Accelerator – Using data to drive collaborative, data-informed coaching
Criteria to Complete:
- All required accelerators completed
- Coaching logs showing consistent cycle use
- Teacher GrowthPath tracking in place
- At least one DataCycle completed
Milestone 3:
Deepen & Strengthen
GOAL: Move from training into consistent, high-quality implementation.
Key Actions:
- Refocus Day (in-person or virtual) to set high-impact priorities
- 4–6 Implementation Days (in-person) for classroom coaching, co-teaching, and strategy lab facilitation
- Virtual Support Coaching Days for ongoing problem-solving
- Mid-Milestone Impact Review using teacher and student data to refine focus
Criteria to Complete:
- 70%+ of coached teachers show growth along the GrowthPath™
- Documented implementation of strategies from the Strategy Notebook
- Midpoint student growth data aligned to coaching goals
- Updated action plan based on review
Milestone 4:
Certify & Sustain
GOAL: Demonstrate results, celebrate achievement, and ensure lasting success.
Key Actions:
- Certification Days (in-person), including: portfolio presentation of implementation artifacts and data, impact story presentation to leadership and peers, sustainability plan creation and approval
- Recognition as a Certified Simply Coaching School™ (badge, certificate, website listing, and social media feature).
Criteria to Complete:
- All certification rubric criteria met
- Final teacher and student growth data submitted
- Approved sustainability plan
- Evidence portfolio presented during Certification Days

The Simply Coaching School Accelerator is designed for districts ready to build or strengthen their instructional coaching systems. It’s ideal for districts with instructional coaches, teacher leaders, and principals who want to build clarity, consistency, and measurable growth across schools.
Each district cohort typically includes 1–2 district-level leaders, 1–2 school leaders per campus, and all instructional coaches. The exact makeup depends on your district’s size and structure, we’ll work with you to customize the right support team.
Each semester begins and ends with in-person campus visits (2–3 days at launch, 1–2 days midyear and end-of-year). All other sessions iincluding weekly or bi-weekly coaching calls and Accelerator sessions are held virtually.
