“Because of the Hub, I've been able to build trusting relationships with teaching staff...”
I have four active coaching cycles going right now, which I believe resulted in having strong reflective conversations around what coaching is and what it looks like with these teachers. Because of the Hub, I’ve been able to build trusting relationships with teaching staff and to use student data and reflective questioning to help teachers be more open to coaching and coaching cycles.

When I first became a coach, no one handed me a plan.
When I first became a coach, no one handed me a plan.
I had five tasks…
- Morning Duty
- Lunch Duty
- Dismissal Duty
- Data Entry of Student Test Scores
- And… “make teachers better”
But no one showed me how. Sound Familiar?
No roadmap. No tools. No clarity. Just expectations.
I spent my beginning years as a coach second-guessing everything.
I searched everywhere for training, but it was too expensive to pay for on a teacher’s salary.
I bought and read books that left me more confused than when I started because they were written by people who didn’t coach in a school like mine.
And I kept asking myself:
“How do I actually help teachers and students? What should I focus on first?”
Now you’re a coach… and no one actually showed you how to coach. And you are here because you are left to figure it out on your own.
You are not alone!
Coaches are expected to support teachers, lead professional development, track progress, and somehow still be available for everything else.
But the truth is: most coaches are never given the training, tools, or support to do this work well.
Meanwhile, teachers are trained, observed, coached, and supported. But coaches? You’re expected to lead without ever being led.
That doesn’t make sense.
Teachers get implementation support. Coaches deserve that too.
I built the Simple Strategy Hub to be the kind of support I wish I had.
Inside, you won’t just learn what to do, you’ll actually implement it, with tools, examples, and guidance the whole way through.
And you won’t do it alone.
